Meet Kirby and David - these guys were in our Free Wedding contest last year. We thought that their story was so special that we wanted to photograph their wedding also. So when I reached out to Kirby, she was thrilled. I have to mention, that from the very beginning, I have had little tingles upon meeting Kirby. She is quite simply an amazing person. Her new husband, David is her perfect compliment. My favorite part of the entire day was her ceremony. The skies were threatening all morning, but it only actually started raining during the ceremony.... So, her dad broke out the umbrella, and the ceremony continued. Here is the best part....Kirby had this amazing look on he face all throughout - she stared right into David's eyes, with a strong voice said her vows with confidence and love. I don't have the words to express how powerful that moment was, but I know that I will always remember it. Then, after the ceremony the rain cleared and the party started, and they lived happily ever after....

I just visited Chicago for the first time! We went up for an engagement shoot (more on that later) and hung out in the city for a bit. Ferris wheel, hot dog with neon green relish, deep dish pizza and all. Here are a few images from being out and about...

Meet Libby and Lee. The wedding was in Alabama, in sugar sweet town called Fairhope. These two are made for each other, they just fit. There is something about them that makes my heart smile, it was such fun to work together. I have to mention her fantastic dress, she purchased from once wed, and the heirloom ring she accessorized with, killer shoes too. Lee is handsome and funny, Libby is amazingly beautiful and warm, see what I mean, they are super fantastic. I am so happy for you both, congrats!
