Racquel + Ismael http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=299 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=299 Tue, 26 Jan 2010 20:01:00 GMT Montego Bay, Jamaica. Friends and family stayed the weekend at the Iberostar Resort, smack dab on the beach. This wedding was going to be awesome right from the beginning. I mean, 1. It's Jamaica.... 2. Racquel and Ismael are fantastic people, check out their engagement session here. And 3. They brought along Michelle Gainey, one of the best wedding planners in Atlanta. I could get use to this....

amelie + brian http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=297 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=297 Thu, 21 Jan 2010 12:06:00 GMT Piedmont Park here in Atlanta. This wedding was sweet. There is no other word to describe this couple. Amelie and her family are from France so she integrated some traditional French wedding customs into their day. Note the macaroons and croque en bouche as their wedding cake. Brian is a musician and had a friends band play during the cocktail hour. See what I mean, sweet. I loved the bright yellow accents she had in her flowers (from Twelve), as the bridesmaids shoe color, and the yellow of her warm shoulder wrap - because you never know what the weather is going to do in Georgia. Afterwards, the wedding guests all walked over to the Park Tavern for a late night after party. That's just plain ol' cool. Below are some of my favorite pics from the day, enjoy!

A delicious southern dinner was complete with Allyson's mom's homemade caramel cake. Everybody enjoyed the smilebooth with was filled with rock n' roll fun, you can check those photos out here. And my favorite part .... check out these two dancing together. Awesome.

The farm was basically my ideal happy place. Rolling hills, lakes, lots of open land, and farm animals. Yup - I'm happy. We went all over the property and finished up the shoot with a little campfire. Perfect. I'm looking forward to their wedding next year at Serenbe, talk about a perfect place. I can't wait!

catherine + reza http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=293 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=293 Thu, 07 Jan 2010 16:43:00 GMT Villa Christina in Atlanta. The uber talented Raney O'Keefe did Catherine's make-up; Raney is the go-to girl for make-up. Their wedding was a great blend of the bride and groom's cultures. Catherine is from Prague and Reza is Persian, they both represented their background in different and sentimental ways. The food served had influences from both families, complete with homemade dishes for guests to enjoy. How cool is that! The culture jam made for some pretty awesome dancing, always a plus. Check out their smilebooth for a peak into the reception goodness. I'm thrilled to have met you both!

Sydney + Chris http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=290 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=290 Mon, 04 Jan 2010 18:29:00 GMT Opera, a swanky nightclub and event space in Midtown Atlanta. Sydney's dress is a classic hollywood glamourous look, which is perfect for Opera. I love the color's of the bridesmaids dresses with the fuschia accent colors that the guys were wearing. Yup, classy. The flowers are from Tulip florist, a yummy cake from Caryn's Cakes, and boogie worthy tunes from Lethal Rhythms. Let me tell you, these folks know how to tear up a dance floor. It probably didn't hurt that they had an entire night club all to themselves to party in. As for Sydney and Chris, well they pretty much rock. Congrats guys!

As a photographer, Indian and Pakistani weddings are so much fun, the colors and textures are so vibrant and the attention to detail makes me go trigger happy! Emad's wedding was no exception - you can read part one of the feature here and part two here, enjoy!

chelsea + ryan http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=287 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=287 Sat, 12 Dec 2009 11:47:00 GMT Oldfield Plantation, a private club located in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Chelsea has some killer style, and I think I fell in love with her dress at first sight. Tulle dresses are awesome, period. We even had the smilebooth along for the ride. You can check out those pics, here. It rained a teensy bit (for good luck) which meant that we had an extra bit of time to take portraits together, bonus! You can tell how happy they are together, just look at Ryan's grin. Congrats you two!

The reception followed at Maggiano's with lots of dancing thanks to Kingsized, possibly the best band, ever. This wedding was chock full-o-fun. Good times, congrats guys!

carole + michael http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=282 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=282 Mon, 07 Dec 2009 21:23:00 GMT Palmetto Bluff, SC. Carole is very talented, she designed all the invites, place settings, and even the table runners for her wedding. The wedding chapel is as cute as a button, no other way to say it! The reception followed at nearby Hampton Lake, where guests could take boats out onto the water, or go next door and float in the lazy river. It was a small intimate group of family and close friends, perfectly sweet and touching. And yep, I cried during the ceremony :)

cher + rick http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=280 http://ourlaboroflovebyheidi.com/index.cfm?postID=280 Sat, 05 Dec 2009 21:09:00 GMT engagement session earlier this year. To start the day, the ladies got dolled up at Dada Salon a super cute vintage salon in Inman Park. The wedding was held at The Cator Woolford Gardens which is a magical spot hidden in the middle of town. Cher ordered the boutonniere's from Etsy which went along perfectly with the wedding's theme. The decor included centerpieces made from gathered tree limbs with cute decorative birds, so adorable. Add to the mix, a cool evening, killer tunes from DJ Swivel, delicious food from Saba (yummy vegan food too!) quite possibly THE BEST wedding cake I have ever tasted from Southern Sweets, throw in a little bit of extra goodness with cupcakes from Dulce Vegan and you have yourself one unforgettable wedding!
